Ingredients
– 1 lb potato gnocchi
– 1/2 lb ground beef or ground turkey
– 2 cups marinara sauce
– 1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 small onion, diced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
4. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, spinach (if using), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5. In a baking dish, combine cooked gnocchi with the meat sauce. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
